Cut out Dress +guest blogging at junkindiggingettinlost

Dress: Asos ;Sandals: Marco Tozzi; Bag: Asos
My beautiful vintage queen blogger friend Krista from junkindiggingettinlost is on vacation with her man, in the meantime I take over and show you one of my favourite purchases recently as a guest blogger. For those who don't know her blog, she is a fashion blogger with such a unique vintage flair. She is def my daily reads and I am always so excited what she comes up next. You also find her backstage as a stylist making country singer looking very special for their music videos and photo shoots. If you missed her on my series an-old-flame-never-dies-series-, you should def check it out. She is a must read for everybody, so stop by and show her some love, she will highly appreciate it!

In those really hot summer days I tend to reach for  lightweight fabrics like this maxi dress.
What really caught my attention was the unique Cut-out detail to the front  and v-neckline with wide-set straps. The high waist fluid skirt with soft pleat detail is super flattering and gives a nice silhouette.
If you are looking for a maxi dress with nice detailing- this is the right choice!

Make sure to check out my post on her blog to see more of this outfit!

Thanks love for having me on your blog today and I really hope to meet you in person one day, we nearly did! :-)

Eve of wedding evening party look

Blazer: H&M; Shorts: Mango; Clutch: Asos; Heels: Asos; Necklace: F21

One of my university girl friends got married coupleweeks ago in Gütersloh. A week before the wedding, she did a traditional german eve of wedding evening party (Polterabend). I wanted to be comfortable yet chic pulled together. A short blazer suit does that to me and is the to go outfit for not so formal occasions. Of course the weather in my hometown Bielefeld was crappy, so tights saved me from brrrrr freezing :-)

Modern Monochrome/Via Uno Pumps

Faux leather skirt: asos; Blouse: Koton; Belt and Bag: Asos; Pumps: Via Uno similar; Ring: Present

Do you love monochromatic dressing? They are a huge trend this season and can be easily created with the basic items you have in your closet. Just look for  pieces that are in the same colour family.

One way to keep your style chic and simple is to mix and match different textures and pattern . It can be as I did on this look  in black and white and throw in some gold accessories (for an extra portion of glamour) or using a different monochrome palette. It doesn't have to be bold. I was playing with different textures as leather, silk and some ruffles and bows for some touch of girlyness.
Usually I like to bring some splash of colour in the monochrome game  to lift it but not today. I wanted to keep it crisp clean and timeless with just black and white.

I have those super cute bow pumps by Via Uno in beige and black. I love their clean and classic feminine designs . Not only are they super comfortable but so affordable too. Do you wear Via Uno?

PS: If you click on asos to see the white leather skirt , you will see a Model who is 1.80 m and rock this skirt like a pro. When I tried this skirt on  it was probably 10 cm under my knees and became a midi skirt, which looks horrible on my figure with 1.66m. SOOOO I pulled the skirt up to nearly my breast so that its hitting my knees, I guess that works . I felt like the sister of Steve Urkel, just needed my suspenders :-D

3 Countries, 3 Wedding Guest Looks

Dress: asos; hidden heels: Via Uno, clutch: asos; ring; pilgrim

Wedding season is in its fullest bloom, so many people I know from university, coworkers and even friends are getting married right now, besides the Baby Boom. So I was super excited to team up with my beautiful and stylish blogger friends Jenny from crazystylelove and Rita from  coastwithme  to show you some idea how to get dressed for attending a wedding. Make sure to check out their posts as well!

That grecian collar maxi dress stole my heart from the moment I saw it on asos while I was looking for a great dress for my best friends wedding, it was truly love at first sight. Of course it was sold out in my size, so I stalked the homepage for that dress probably like 10 times a day to check if it is available in my size. Being persistent pays off most of the time, so now I can be the goddess for that empire dress and it feels great ;-).
Are there many wedding celebration going on around your right now? What is your favourite guest look?

Thanks girls for that fun teaming up! You both looked divine in those bright colours and just love the versatility of the different styles! Love ya!

PS: If you haven't been following me on bloglovin and Facebook yet, I would appreciate if you click on the link and show me some fashionista love ;-)

metallic elements

Baroque pattern was the trend in the winter season. I 'd still love to wear it and make a transition to spring by combining it with my gold sandals and my favourite sheer light orange blouse. Have a great start in the week!

Rainbow

Blazer & Necklace: F21; Skirt: H&M; Belt & Clutch: Asos; Heels: Zara; Top: mint&berry; Bracelet: Tasha; Sunnies: Esprit

Getting a multicoloured skirt has so many advantages! You can pair it with different tops and blazers, picking up the colours of the skirt and create versatile looks. Score for a skirt that only cost me10€ :-). Plus it contains my favourite colours - emerald green, magenta and mustard! I will come with different creations in the next weeks, so stay tune!

PS: I am so in love in bruno mars latest female version:
@Rita: It would sound so great if you would sing this song, you know how much I love your voice, especially when you sing ballads :-)

Hope you have a great start in the week girls and boys (Terry ;-)..)!
