Urban cool in Washington DC

It was the first time reunited with Washington DC since 1999, when I was a german exchange student (junior) and participated in an amazing field tripwith the sophomores to get to know the history of the USA better. Can you believe how I forgot my backpack with my passport in the white house while I was so bussy taking pics, crazy huh? Fun times!
13 years later I had the chance to explore it with Eric who is doing his last remaining rotations there to become a doctor. We were blessed with a beautiful day to see all the great sightseeing spots.

    Ich liebe die USA und bin ein echter New York Fan. Ich hoffe aber irgendwann mal Washington DC besuchen zu können. Ich finde es ist eine ser imposante und auch eine sehr schöne Stadt mit einem durchaus interessanten historischen Hintergrund. Aber im Frühjahr geht es für mich erstmal wieder an die Westküste der USA:).

    Gorgeous outfit! I love your shorts and tights combo! I've been wanting to try out a look like that but haven't gotten brave enough for it yet! Love the color of that hat too :)
