Peplum and Aztec in the mix

Peplum: H&M
Aztec skirt: Bershka
Cap toe Pumps: Asos
Satchel: Boutique
Sunnies: H&M
Bracelet: H&M

Usually Peplum works wonders on so many body shapes but when an acquaintance told me I look as I have a bun in the oven I was like "yeah peplum even works for preggo women" hehe ;-) No, seriously,  I think it works perfectly with curves and underlines your female silhouette and makes your waist appear slim.In a previous post (here) I paired it with a tulip peplum skirt. This time I wanted to go  for a more modern and fun way and just to kill  two birds with one stone- pairing two of my favourite trends this summer- my aztec skirt and a basic peplum top. I have already taken pics for my next blogpost, where I will combine my peplum shirt with a pencil skirt. I haven't tried it with jeans or pants yet, have to try it out some time soon though and will let you know. This time I kept it pretty simple with the accessoires, my man got tired of my gold chain necklaces from HRH collection hahaha, also I think they always give an outfit that effortless finish touch ;-).
How do you style your peplum pieces?

PS: I first spotted this Peplum shirt on  my favourite bloger friend Jenny from Crazy Style Love (www.crazystylelove.com) and needed to get my hands on it. She has an amazing femine style and is such a sweet person, you have to check out her blog as well if you don't do it anyways hehe because she is AMAZING (invert high opera voice) :-)
OH and another super sweet Peplum queen is Bonnie from  Mini Me Style (www.minimestyle.com) one of my favourite daily blog reads as well :-). They both have one in common, where I can shout out my german phrase "Klein aber fein" which  means small but fine :-)

Have a great Thursday loves and thanks for stoping by, always puts a smile on my face :-)

Magenta

Dress: Asos
Clutch: Mango
Heels: ZARA
Sheba & Sheik Necklace: HRH Collection

I purchased this dress to spent last christmas with my boyfriend and his family in Florida. Not only do I love this bright cheerful magenta colour which adds a vibrant summery vibe but also  its cut and flowing material. So flattering when you are curvy and have wide hips :-).  It's so versatile that it can be worn all year around- in the winter with tights, cardigan and boots. Wearing a bright dress liked this, it's essential to wear natural/basic colour shoes. I picked my favourite black snake heels to avoid looking overdone.  Styled with my favourite Sheba and Sheik necklace from HRH Collection, the necklaces totally sticksout and gives that look a polished touch. I think this kind of dress and colour looks flattering on every woman, don't you think?

My man is the more casual type prefering comfy footwear ;-)
ONLY 2 weeks and 4 days till I get to see him after 8 months of seperation, can't wait to hold my lovely doctor in my arms <3
Hope Y'all have a great start in the week!

Business Chic!

Hey guys! Hope you have a great start in the week. Today I'd like to share with you what I usually wear to work. I am not a big fan of uniform suits (usually the pants that go with the blazer have a strange cut or are just not fitting me perfectly). I'd rather pair a blazer with pants that are made out of different fabrics, which gives the look a more modern twist. As the waxed black pants with the zipper gives the outfit a rocky edgy finish I paired it with a scarf printed blouse to underline feminity and elegance. The nude coloured heels and bag softens the look. Working as an HR Representative in a modern company it's so much fun beeing able to go with fashion and not beeing forced walking in boring conservative cloth pants :-)

Day to Night Transition

Dress: Promod
Blazer:  H&M
Clutch: Mango
Bag: Belmondo
Necklace: Seejewelry
Ring: Morellato
BlackPumps: Via Uno; Nude Pumps: ESCADA
Heels: Tamaris

It's so easy to transform a  day to a night outfit. All you have to do is is exchange the blazer and pointed toe pumps to a clutch some heels and jewelry :-). As you can see, the transition from an office outfit to an outfit that can be worn after work to have dinner or some cocktails with friends can be achieved with just some items.

Splash of pink and coral

 Skirt: H&M
Top: Vero Moda
Heels: ZARA
Clutch: H&M
Jewelry: Seejewlry (here) and (here)

On my business trip to Munich, I discovered this embellished pink mini skirt at H&M trend. What a girly statement piece that upgrades every look for this season. The coral ruffled shirt gives it a flirty polished touch and is such a mood lifter.  Of course I had to accessoires it with some of my gold chain jewelry. Catherine from Seejewlry has some really amazing pieces, you should def check out her page.
Probably one of my favourite oufits  for this summer. I'M LOVIN' IT (insert high opera voice) and feel like a coloured fruity lollipop :-D

Have a great weekend and thank's for stopping by and your support! Appreciate it alot!

Green is not just Green!

I usually don't reach for green items  also there are really pretty hues out there. BUT when I spotted this beautiful green mini skirt with the gold zipper I knew this baby is coming home with me :-)
The white silk blouse underlines the perfect summer complexion, while the green skirt emphasize colourful accents. Paired it with my gold pointed pumps, rose gold bracelet and nude colured clutch to give it that polished finish. Especially the length and cut of that skirt is so flattering when you have cuved hips and larger thighs.  Not every green shade fits the skin tone or hair colour. I usually prefer greens with blue undertones  to bilious or yellowish green tones. Do you have any preferences?
